Bilingual DJ & MC for weddings, debuts, cotillions, corporate events, and community celebrations. Reading the room and moving the crowd since 2009.
I'm Arden, aka DJ Ardster. DJ, MC, dancer, and choreographer rocking Southern California events since 2009. My specialty is the room most DJs struggle with: the multi-generational celebration, where your grandmother, your college friends, and your godchildren all need a reason to stay on the floor.
That means real programming depth: OPM classics and line dances, ballroom sets for the elders, throwback R&B and current hits for everyone else, woven into rotations instead of blocks, so no one ever feels like the party isn't for them.
On the mic I host in English and Tagalog, keep your program on time, pronounce every name right, and carry the formalities with the respect they deserve: grand entrances, toasts, awards, and cultural traditions.
Behind the booth is a fully professional, redundancy-planned rig: Pioneer club-standard gear, wireless mics on a dedicated console, premium sound scaled to your venue, and a backup plan for the backup plan. Live band at your event? I've mixed them through my system mid-program without missing a beat.
Home base is Los Angeles, but the party travels. I've rocked floors across Orange County, the Inland Empire, Ventura County, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Reno, New Mexico, and Vancouver. The party has even left land: I was the Captain's Pick DJ on a Carnival cruise, spinning the Saturday prime-time dinner, the ship crew introduction, and the after-party, and I've brought a wedding dance floor to life on a yacht.
And I don't roll alone. On big events, Gilbert, aka DJ GeeGroove, is my official assistant and second DJ. While I'm on the mic hosting your program, he's on the decks, so the music never goes on autopilot. He holds the vibe through cocktail hour and dinner, and he can fill a dance floor in his own right. Two pros, one booth: a full-attention MC and a live DJ at the same time. Most solo DJs can't give you both.
And to be clear about something I'm proud of: every couple, every family, and every love story is welcome here. Your celebration is yours. My job is to make it unforgettable.
Every package includes DJ + bilingual MC hosting, professional sound, wireless mics for your speakers, and a planned run of show built with you before the day.
From processional to last dance: ceremony audio, grand entrance, first dance, toasts, and a reception floor that never empties. All couples and all love stories welcome. Ballroom, banquet hall, backyard, or yacht.
18 Roses, 18 Candles, court waltzes, and surprise numbers, all cued, rehearsed, and announced like the milestone it is.
Vals, surprise dance, cake and toast, with bilingual hosting that keeps both sides of the family in the moment.
Clean edits, tight timelines, awards and program hosting, and a dance set that gets coworkers out of their chairs.
Church anniversaries, festivals, race days, and fundraisers. Full event operations: announcements, performances, line dances, and program flow.
Birthdays, anniversaries, and reunions with right-sized sound and a set built from your family's actual favorites, not a generic playlist.
I'm a dancer and choreographer. I see when the floor is about to turn before it happens, and I program in generational rotations so everyone gets their song.
English and Tagalog hosting, phonetic name sheets for every announcement, and formalities handled with cultural fluency, not just a voice on a mic.
A two-DJ team on big events, a dedicated mic console independent of the DJ rig, offline music library, backup audio paths, and clean versions guaranteed for family and church events.
A taste of the craft: R&B slow jams, throwback party sets, and live event highlights. Tap a card to play on YouTube.
Ballrooms, backyards, festival stages, and everything in between. A few rooms I've had the honor of rocking.
Fifteen-plus years, 200+ events, and counting. Every one of these is real, and the communities behind them keep calling back.
Most of my bookings arrive by word of mouth. Ask around your community, chances are we've already danced.
Fall and holiday dates go first. Tell me your date, venue, and the kind of celebration, and I'll tell you exactly how I'd run your night.
